RESEARCH ENGINEER - SR. RESEARCH ENGINEER - PCB Layout Engineer

Who We Are:

We are a world-renowned supplier in advanced spacecraft avionics and payload processing solutions. Our state-of-the-art research and development center provides complete turn-key systems and solutions to meet the most demanding space applications.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Responsible for design, analysis, documentation, verification, and test of PWB designs for space applications including both analog/power and digital architectures.
  • Work on the full lifecycle design for related flight electronics in high reliability systems for space applications; define requirements, write specifications, perform analysis and implement designs from concept to hardware.
  • Lead and work with team of engineers and technicians.
  • Interface with customers, and compile and present data to justify design.
  • Serve as a subject matter expertise for PWB design and IPC standards.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for design, test, and delivery of printed circuit boards; complete signal and power integrity circuit analysis and other analysis necessary.
  • Travel is required in order to provide field support at customer and/or vendor facilities.
  • Will work on full PCB life cycle including providing direction to PCB designers and/or manufacturers, and working within an integrated project team with other disciplines such as packaging, parts, reliability, production and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelors or a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related engineering degree field.
  • 2-7 years: Printed Circuit Board Development.
  • 2-7 years: Circuit Design, with emphasis on high reliability electronics.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
