What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure systems across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI)
• Tune and optimize cloud services for performance, reliability, and maintainability of core services
• Develop core services using TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go to support deployment and infrastructure requirements
• Support large-scale systems with event-driven architectures and own problems from design through production support
• Collaborate closely with engineers, AI researchers, and security researchers to enable high-quality product development

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Strong experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems on cloud infrastructure such as AWS or similar
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK)
• Track record of performance tuning across cloud services, databases, and compute layers
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete information
• Experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with deploying infrastructure to multiple environments (SaaS, on-prem) and building resilient systems
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues, or async workflows (e.g., using Kafka)
• Knowledge of modern observability practices (logs, metrics, tracing)
• Experience working in an early-stage startup or building developer tooling/security products
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch at scale
