Google is seeking a research-focused Software Engineer to join its Applied Research and Responsibility team in Mountain View. You will design, prototype, and scale engineering solutions, running experiments to address emerging research priorities within the Responsibility portfolio.

You will collaborate with Research Scientists to advance Responsible AI, set technical direction, and present trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders; leadership and cross-team coordination are key.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in Python programming.
• Experience with Generative AI, Generative AI agents, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with Cloud AI/Machine learning systems and tools (e.g., Kaggle, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.).

US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
