Fundamental AI Research Institute in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Research Engineer – Post-Training, Agents, Evals to advance LLM post-training and agentic infrastructure. This hybrid role focuses on building RL environments, evaluation harnesses, and scalable post-training platforms to accelerate cutting-edge research.

The candidate will contribute to deployment of large-scale models, publish results, and collaborate with top researchers.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS/ML/Maths preferred.
• Strong publication record in top conferences, or contribution to leading AI models, datasets and benchmarks.
• 2+ years industry experience, focused on RL, Evals, Reasoning, Agents or AI infra.

Requirements:
