Job summary

FleishmanHillard is seeking a Research Director to join the True Global Intelligence Team with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle. The role focuses on integrated research, analytics, and data-driven strategy across earned and social media.

You will lead analytics, manage client relationships, and translate findings into actionable recommendations while mentoring junior staff in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of experience across a broad range of research categories and models.
• Experience in media measurement (earned preferred) and client service.
• Proficiency with media data collection tools (Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Cision, Signal AI).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of integrated research and analytics assignments.
• Advise clients and senior leaders with strategic recommendations based on findings.
• Lead research design and data collection aligned with objectives.
• Ensure processes and documentation meet high quality standards.
• Own project execution and address issues impacting timeline or data quality.
• Counsel junior staff and oversee deliverables; support professional development.
• Assist with scopes of work, budgets, and staffing with team leads.
• Present findings clearly to clients and translate data into strategy.
• Counsel clients on measurement best practices and KPIs.
