Job summary

ADM is seeking an Exempt quality systems professional to support development, implementation, execution, and performance of Quality Systems to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.

You will participate in GMP, HACCP, and internal inspections, lead root-cause analyses, guide day-to-day quality decisions, support pest control, training, and cross-functional projects, with a base pay range of $53,100 to $86,600.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 4 year degree or equivalent Food Safety experience.
  • Recommended PCQI trained.
  • Working knowledge of document management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other data bases.
  • Knowledge of applicable food regulations and requirements (FDA, GMPs, USDA, HACCP).
  • Ability to make decisions based on information and data available.
  • Ability to work as a team member and provide training.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the implementation and maintenance of the pilot plant food safety, quality management, and document control.
  • Serve as an active member of Food Safety teams.
  • Provides support and guidance for day-to-day decision-making regarding quality/food safety impacts on products.
  • Required to be flexible, providing quality and food safety support across projects and teams.
  • Supports training activities regarding quality and food safety.
  • Owns GMP and ensures cleaning and hygiene programs are carried out.
  • Conducts pre-operation inspection of equipment that has undergone maintenance and/or sanitation.
  • Assists with compliance and regulatory audits.
  • Routinely conducts GMP, Food Safety Plan / HACCP, and internal inspections.
  • Works with scientists and leadership to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards and provides guidance as needed.
  • Participate/Lead root cause analysis and corrective action/preventative action plans in the event of a quality or food safety incident.
  • Assists in providing quality training to new hires, contractors, and refresher training as needed and maintains training records.
  • Carries out and uphold monitoring and prerequisite programs.
  • Assists with oversight of Pest Control Program.
  • Works closely with multiple R&D teams to assist with implementation of new programs and review of existing plans and programs.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$53,100.00 - $86,600.00
