Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma with at least 9 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with at least 5 years of related experience; Master’s with STEM and 3+ years.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Management responsibilities for projects in initiating, designing, developing, executing, and implementing scientific research.
• May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research efforts.
• Responsible for daily operations of a team or work unit (direct supervision of staff, assignment of work, schedules, and day-to-day workflow).
• Develop full working knowledge of procedures and practices and provide direction to subordinates using established policies.
• Monitor daily work operations of non-exempt employees and provide guidance as required.
• This is a working manager position with direct labor above 50% expected.
