We Are Hiring

• Department: Ascension Data Science Institute
• Schedule: Full time
• Location: Remote

What You Will Do

In partnership with the Ascension Clinical Research Institute Graduate Medical Education (GME) office, works collaboratively with residents, fellows, and clinical leaders on the development and implementation of research projects supporting graduate medical education requirements, including study design, analysis plans and protocol development, data acquisition/preparation, statistical analysis and hypothesis testing, and the development of materials to summarize and communicate findings.

• Work with residents, fellows, and clinical leaders to understand and frame research questions in the context of available data.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and support/perform complex statistical data analysis including multivariate statistical analysis, multilevel modeling, and other methods suitable for given research design and available data.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on research methods and relevant research data sources, with an understanding of the breadth and scope of each data source and the extent to which they can be integrated with other centralized data sources.
• Contribute to the development of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, especially as it relates to the methods and results.

What You Will Need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• Higher education degree in Public Heath, Biostatistics, or related field
• Data Tools: statistical programming languages, Python, R, SQL
