Summary: The Research Data Manager is an essential member of the Research Informatics team, responsible for the daytoday management, coordination, and quality assurance of research datasets, data intake processes, metadata, and operational data governance activities. This role supports institutional honest broker workflows and works in close partnership with the Sr. Research Data Analyst, clinical researchers, IRB staff, and data stewards to ensure timely, compliant, and accurate preparation of research-ready data assets. This role ensures consistent application of data handling policies, supports compliance with HIPAA and Common Rule requirements, and provides hands‑on coordination of study‑level data operations across the research lifecycle. The Research Data Manager collaborates across clinical, information security, and research administration teams, and ensures compliant and effective management of research data throughout its lifecycle.
