Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Research Data Coordinator I to manage data across multiple clinical research projects. You will review clinic notes, pathology and radiology reports, and patient questionnaires to extract trial data per protocol, ensuring accurate entry into study databases.

Under moderate supervision, you will liaise with the study coordinator and monitors to meet data requirements and maintain data quality, with growth opportunities in the Research Data Coordinator career

Qualifications

Must have effective verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and pace oneself when working under deadlines and heavy workload.
Experience interpreting various aspects of a medical record or familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for data management of multiple research projects.
Review and synthesize information from medical records to extract trial data as specified by protocols.
Ensure data is captured according to study protocol in the database systems, under supervision.
Consult frequently with the study coordinator, trial sponsor, and internal monitors regarding data requirements, query resolution, and data capture.
