Job summary

Children's Hospital Oakland seeks a dedicated Research Data Analyst to gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of research data. You will design data samples, instruments, and apply established statistical methods to develop actionable recommendations.

Under supervision, you will prepare reports, charts, and visual aids to communicate results and support dissemination of findings. This role supports data collection, study design, data sources testing, and data reporting products.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of research data.
• Design and conduct research including selecting data samples, developing research instruments, analyzing collected information according to established statistical methods, and developing recommendations based on research findings.
• Prepare reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to interpret and communicate data and results.

Department Overview

Children's Hospital Oakland is part of a Federally Qualified Health Center with large number of families at or below the poverty line and recent immigrants. We provide speciality mental health care and are embedded in the primary care setting with 2,000 annual encounters. The FQHC integrates a multidisciplinary team that is highly collaborative and motivated to work with the population.
