Responsibilities
  • Conduct statistical studies supporting research proposals and protocols. Manage personnel, timelines, logistics, and data collection for various research studies, overseeing undergraduate research assistants.
  • Maintain and develop research data systems. Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, research assistants, and staff to manage research projects and communication.
  • Plan studies, including designing survey instruments and determining sampling and reporting procedures. Prepare and analyze research data. Understand literature review components and contribute to project development and revisions. Participate in research seminars.
  • Assist in designing, documenting, testing, and implementing research studies. Develop data organization systems to analyze and report trends.
  • Schedule and coordinate research meetings.
  • Coordinate hiring, interviewing, and reviewing undergraduate and predoctoral research assistants.
  • Research, evaluate, and select new data reporting tools.
  • Engage in professional learning and growth opportunities, contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), and exemplify Haas' Leadership Principles.
Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge of research functions.
  • Skills in statistical analysis, systems programming, database design, and data security.
  • Skills in analysis and consultation.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, Julia, STATA, MatLab, or Perl.
  • Proficiency in version control software like git.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience running code on Linux-based remote servers.
  • Experience managing small teams.
  • Experience writing on technical subjects for professional or non-professional audiences.
Salary & Benefits
