Job summary

Position Summary

The UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center ( LCCC ), founded in 1975, is a National Cancer Institute ( NCI )-designated comprehensive cancer center. The Center’s mission is to reduce cancer occurrence and death in North Carolina and the nation through research, treatment, training, and outreach.

We are hiring for a full-time Project Coordinator for our My Body, My Test-4, a cervical cancer screening study based at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, NC. The study is a 5-year NIH -funded trial investigating whether colorectal and cervical cancer screening programs could be improved by bundling outreach of at-home self-collection kits for under-screened patients. The Project Coordinator will be in charge of all aspects of study implementation as part of a friendly and productive team that includes UNC faculty, staff, and students. They will independently develop and implement study -operational plans within the approved protocol. Additionally, this position will decide appropriate recruitment strategies based on enrollment and evaluate study performance, making revisions when needed. This position will exercise independent judgment in resolving clinic, partner, and participant-flow problems. This role will interpret and implement study procedures and practices and has the authority to make operational decisions independently.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s or Bachelor’s and 0-2 years’ experience; or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution.
