Job summary

The Contract Analyst position at the UNT-Grants & Contracts Admin-190100 in Denton assists in reviewing standard contract terms, drafting summaries, and ensuring compliance with university policies and regulations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of contract or grants experience.
• Ability to interpret policies and follow procedures.
• Familiarity with standard contract language and regulatory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and process standard lower-risk research agreements using approved templates.
• Identify and summarize key terms; elevate non-standard or high-risk issues.
• Assist in reviewing regulatory and policy requirements (FAR, DFARS, CFR).
• Support incorporation of standard flow-down provisions using approved guidance.
• Maintain contract records and tracking systems.
• Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate agreement processing.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
