Job summary

Auburn University is seeking a Research Compliance Analyst within the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance. This role provides leadership in evaluation, analysis, and administrative support for the Research Integrity program.

Responsibilities include regulatory review, guidance to IRB/IACUC/IBC, education and training delivery, and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for Level I with related experience.
• Master's degree acceptable for Level II with related experience.
• Terminal degree or equivalent for Level III with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory review of protocols, applications, and COI disclosures for compliance.
• Provide regulatory advice to investigators and compliance committees (IRB, IACUC, IBC).
• Lead development and delivery of education and training on regulations and policies.
• Support monitoring activities and evaluations of concerns to ensure oversight.
• Serve as liaison between faculty, staff and the Office of Research Integrity and Compliance.
• Contribute to public relations and dissemination of program outcomes to stakeholders.
• Assist with policy and tool development in response to regulatory changes.
• Research regulatory topics and prepare confidential reports and data analyses.
• Evaluate and implement process improvements aligned with the university's strategic plan.
• Provide backup support within the unit and across programs.
