E Ink Corporation is a global leader in electronic paper technology, driving innovation in low-power display solutions. We seek a creative chemist to join our Research Department and contribute to color pigment development and new ink formulations for color displays.

The role is full-time, under supervision of Senior Research Scientists, with responsibilities spanning pigment modification, formulation work, and rigorous data documentation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, materials science and engineering or relevant science fields.
• 0-2years of experience in a laboratory environment; polymer and colloid science preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication; ability to write scientific reports/updates.
• Self-directed, motivated, hands-on personality.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior technical staff on laboratory experiments in pigment surface modification and ink formulations.
• Collaborate with analytical scientists to characterize pigments and materials.
• Perform electrical and electro-optical measurements for new color displays.
• Document processes and results; participate in group and project meetings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and policies in the laboratory.

THE ROLE

E Ink is seeking a creative chemist to join a team making innovations in electrophoretic ink materials systems. This opportunity is for a full-time scientist to work under the supervision of Senior Research Scientists. The successful candidate willbe responsible forthe development of color pigments and the new electronic ink formulations. This position is with E Ink’s Research Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work with senior technical staff to conduct laboratory experiments primarily in pigment surface modification and ink formulations
• Collaborate with analytical scientists to characterize pigments and materials
• Perform electrical and electro optical measurements for new color displays
• Document processes and results
• Participate in group and project meetings
• Work safely in the laboratory adhering to the company’s safety protocols and policies

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, materials science and engineering or relevant science fields
• 0-2years of experience working in a laboratory environment with a variety of equipment, knowledge and experience in polymer and colloid science is much preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to write scientific reports/technical updates
• Self-directed, motivated, and hands-on personality
• Ability to multitask, work independently as well as in a team environment
• Aptitude inacquiringnew knowledge and skills, flexible to adapt to changes

COMPENSATION& BENEFITS

Theanticipatedannual base salary range for this position is $70,000-100,000, not includingvariable pay.T he final offer will be based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.

In addition to a competitive base salary, E Ink offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; and a401(k) retirementsavings plan.Additionally, the position is eligible for our bonus program.
