Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a four-year degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field.
• Five to eight years of progressively responsible experience in agricultural operations, farm management, agricultural business management, or related industries.
• Experience with fiscal management, including budgeting and revenue development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations supporting the University’s research, teaching, and Extension missions.
• Coordinate long-term planning for infrastructure and cropping systems; ensure safety and efficiency across Centers.
• Lead budgeting processes, revenue strategies, and capital improvement planning.
• Foster engagement with faculty, Extension, industry partners, and CANR leadership.
• Supervise farm managers and staff, including performance evaluations and development.
• Promote a safe, inclusive workplace and compliance with safety regulations.
