Job summary

The Cornell Center for Enervating Neuroimmune Disease (ENID Center) in Ithaca, NY invites applications for a Research Center Manager (Research Support Spec II) to support the Director and Associate Director in running the center and its projects. This fixed-term, benefits-eligible position initially spans 12 months with a possibility of renewal.

Qualified candidates will have life sciences training, strong organizational and project management skills, and experience with data management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with data collection, reporting, and coordination across researchers.
• Willingness to work with human subjects samples and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with common software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Supervising collection of clinical data and configuring REDCap project setup.
• Facilitating transfer of research data, publications, and events to NIH Data Management and Coordination Center.
• Organizing meetings with research collaborators and attending joint lab meetings.
• Assisting with grant proposals and preparation of NIH reporting.
• Screening subjects, interfacing with participants, and coordinating with recruitment services.
• Maintaining Biobank samples and tracking storage and shipments.
• Conducting experiments and assays on human samples.
• Interacting with clinicians and other centers to acquire samples.
• Managing equipment and regulatory compliance activities.
• Maintaining the Center's website and social media, acting as primary contact.
