Duties

Support the Administrative Team with campus events and activities. Under the supervision of the Administrative Manager, assist with on-site event functions, including:

  • Pre-event logistics planning (catering, A/V, meeting setup)
  • On-site event support
  • Post-event cleanup and disinfection
  • Communication between teams during events
  • Ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Handling special projects as assigned

The internship is scheduled from August to December 2025.

Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a college or university, pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
  • Junior or Senior status
  • Ability to work full-time during the internship (Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm)
  • Flexible schedule due to event timings
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Good organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient time management
  • Familiarity with MS Office
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Own transportation to campus at 743 Reynolds Road, West Glocester, RI
