Qualifications

• Ability to read and write to maintain records and read instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates cage washing equipment, autoclaves and sanitizing equipment.
• Maintains adequate levels of cage wash chemicals.
• Pre-cleans large animal cages for cage wash machinery.
• Loads, operates and unloads steam autoclaves.
• Maintains detailed records of maintenance schedules and tests.
• Disposes waste materials and cleans cage wash areas at end of shift.
