Job summary

The Duke University Department of Medicine seeks a Research Associate, Sr to join Dr. David Tuveson’s team. You will contribute to mechanistic cancer biology and develop experimental models in collaboration with investigators at Duke Medicine and Duke Cancer Institute.

Onsite work in a laboratory setting is required. The appointee should have a Ph.D. or equivalent and more than five years of postdoctoral training, with experience in molecular/cellular biology and data interpretation.

The Duke University Department of Medicine is seeking a Research Associate, Sr. to join Dr. David Tuveson’s research team. You will contribute to mechanistic cancer biology and experimental model development in collaboration with Department of Medicine and Duke Cancer Institute investigators.

Minimum Requirements:

• Min Degree Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).
• Other Credential/Experiential Requirements: The appointee must have greater than 5 years of postdoctoral training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in molecular or cellular biology and bench-based cancer research.
• Experience in experimental optimization, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
• Experience in scientific writing and presentation of research findings.

Other Requirements:

• Work is performed onsite in the research laboratory. Follow applicable laboratory safety, research integrity, and institutional requirements; maintain accurate research records.
