Job summary

Until, based in San Francisco, is seeking a full-time Research Associate to join our hibernation team. This role involves the development and refinement of cryoprotectant perfusion protocols crucial for advancing our mission. You will engage collaboratively with scientists across disciplines to tackle challenging problems.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, extensive laboratory experience, and a passion for scientific discovery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with in vivo rodent models; surgical experience is desirable.
• Creative understanding of physiology and organ function.
• At least 2 years of experience in complex laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental setup and preparation for perfusion experiments.
• Support and monitor whole-body perfusion experiments.
• Evaluate tissues and organs post-perfusion.
