Job summary

Until Labs is seeking an experienced Research Associate to join our hibernation team. You will develop and refine whole-body cryoprotectant perfusion protocols, evaluate perfusion efficiency, and assess organ viability.

You will own specific technical challenges and work with scientists across biology, physics, and chemistry to accelerate discovery. You will collaborate on experimental setups, maintain detailed records, and contribute to publication-ready data while exploring innovative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with in vivo rodent models; surgical experience desirable.
• Interest in physiology with creative approach.
• Minimum 2 years of lab experience in complex procedures.
• Self-driven and motivated by discovery.
• Ability to design and test novel protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up experiments and prepare solutions and equipment.
• Support perfusion experiments; monitor physiological parameters and preserve docs.
• Evaluate tissues post-perfusion for structure and cryoprotectant distribution.
• Ensure accurate sample processing and timely data reporting.
• Review literature and design tests to advance preservation protocols.
