Job summary

Terrestrial Bio, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Research Associate for the QC team in Woburn, MA. You will perform viscosity, surface tension, UV-Vis, and pH testing to support MAP formulation development and QC release, while maintaining cGMP records and cross‑functional collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of lab experience, hands-on instrumentation skills, and strong data integrity practices in a fast-paced environment. Onsite work 4–5 days/week in MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 1–3 years of hands‑on laboratory experience.
• Experience operating laboratory instrumentation for viscosity, surface tension, UV‑Vis, and pH.
• Familiarity with cGMP/GLP‑compliant data integrity and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine physical characterization of liquids and formulations.
• Prepare reagents, calibration standards, and samples per SOPs.
• Operate and troubleshoot physical characterization instrumentation with calibration records.
• Execute UV-Vis/ spectrophotometric assays for concentration and purity.
• Analyze data to ensure precision, reproducibility, and compliance with specs.
• Document test results and maintain audit-ready cGMP/ALCOA+ records.
• Support method qualification, validation, and protocol execution.
• Author and review SOPs and analytical methods.
• Collaborate with Analytical Development, Formulation Development, Process Engineering, and QC.
