Job summary

Terrestrial Bio, Inc. is seeking a motivated Research Associate to join the QC team in Massachusetts.

You will perform routine and non-routine fluidic property testing to support formulation development, process characterization, and QC release for microneedle array patch programs. This hands-on role requires operating specialized instrumentation, maintaining cGMP records, and collaborating with R&D and Manufacturing to meet program timelines, with onsite work expected 4–5 days per week at

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Biophysics, or related field with 1–3 years lab experience; or a Master with relevant research.
Hands-on experience operating viscosity, surface tension, UV-Vis, and pH meters in a regulated lab environment.
Fundamental understanding of physical chemistry and fluid behaviors.
Experience in cGMP/GLP or other quality labs.
Strong attention to detail and precise documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine physical characterization using viscometry, surface tension, UV-Vis, and pH measurements.
Prepare reagents, standards, and samples following SOPs.
Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation with calibration/service records.
Analyze data to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and compliance.
Document results in audit-ready records following data integrity principles.
Support method qualification, validation, and protocol execution.
