Qualifications

  • PhD in microbiology or related field (or foreign equivalent); MD also acceptable.
  • At least 1 year of postdoctoral or independent research experience with peer‑reviewed publications.
  • Strong record of research accomplishments and potential to lead innovative studies on retrovirology and cancer biology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead innovative and impactful research on transmissible cancers within a collaborative environment.
  • Design, execute, and interpret experiments integrating genetic, biochemical and systems approaches.
  • Contribute to the advancement of the department's mission through mentorship and teamwork.
