Research Associate Position, Division of Hematology-Oncology


Location: Philadelphia, PA
Open Date: Mar 21, 2025
Deadline: Mar 21, 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Research Associate positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of hematology/oncology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree.

Responsibilities may include the ability to lead projects and work cooperatively with others, carry out and troubleshoot experiments, and assist in manuscript and grant writing. Building relationships with supervisors, collaborators, and co-workers are also important in this position.

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to work on the interface of basic and translational research and develop the ability to handle research projects independently at intellectual as well as technical levels.
