Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Research Associate to join our Crop Transformation Systems team within Biotechnology/Trait Discovery & Optimization. You will generate transgenic and genome-edited events to support trait discovery and product development, requiring embryo isolation, explant preparation, transformation, and plant regeneration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, plant science, agronomy, or equivalent.
• Experience with cell and tissue culture and plant transformation is highly desired.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to generate quality transgenic and genome editing events to support traits discovery, optimization, and product development.
• Crop transformation work isolating embryos or preparing explants, performing transformation, sub-culturing tissue culture materials, and regenerating plants.
• Maintain accurate electronic and legal notebook records, summarize results, and execute lab work following safety standards.
