Qualifications
- MS or PhD in materials science, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, additive manufacturing, or related field.
- PhD preferred for advanced research leadership potential.
- Experience with metal additive manufacturing processes and lab workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on characterization work including tomography, microscopy, metallography, and related analyses.
- Link experimental results with modeling to advance process understanding.
- Produce high-quality results, figures, methods descriptions, and technical summaries.
- Integrate knowledge across processing, post-processing, characterization, and interpretation stages.
