Job Description

As a Research Associate, Medicinal Chemistry, you will participate a multi-disciplinary drug discovery team through the design and synthesis of new molecules. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record and a commitment to tackling drug discovery challenges through organic synthesis.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 0+ years of relevant experience

• Associates degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

• Strong synthetic skills and a solid knowledge of modern organic synthesis techniques

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this position is: $82,195.00 - $106,370.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
