Research Associate II - S3D - School of Computer Science

The Software and Societal Systems (S3D) department within the School of Computer Science explores the intersection of software, systems, and society to better serve humanity. Our research includes developing tools, policies, and methods to make the world a safer, more equitable place.

We are seeking a Research Associate II to support the WebAssembly Research Center (WRC). Responsibilities include maintaining and developing software such as the Wizard Research Engine, CI/CD pipelines, benchmarking tools, and internal software. The role involves software development, documentation, and maintenance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop software artifacts supporting research activities
  • Perform quality assurance and testing of research software
  • Support research activities of students through mentorship and design feedback

Qualifications

Additional Information

The salary range in California is $20 - $30/hr. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered per applicable laws.
