Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine's HSS department seeks a Research Project Coordinator to assist with and coordinate portions of a randomized controlled trial.
Under general supervision, this role reviews progress at each phase and supports data collection from interviews and chart reviews. The position requires Spanish level I, a bachelor's degree, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Assists with and/or coordinates portions of research projects. Works under general supervision. Final review required for each phase of assignment.
The KPSOM HSS department mission includes: 1) the pursuit of a broad scholarship agenda that will improve population health and health care through systems transformation and redesign; and 2) delivery of an innovative foundational curriculum in four domains: community and population health, health care and social systems, quality and safety, and research methods to inform evidence-based clinical practice. This position will support a randomized controlled trial that will test whether telephone-based care coordination through 211 LA increases referral to and receipt of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)-related services for children ages 0-11 years and improves parent and child wellbeing outcomes.
