The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center seeks a highly motivated Research Associate I to join the Optimum Teff project, focused on improving teff (Eragrostis tef) through genome editing to reduce lodging and grain shattering and enhance yield potential. The successful candidate will support teff genetic transformation, genome editing, molecular characterization, and phenotypic evaluation of edited plants. The position is part of the Optimum Teff project at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in collaboration with the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR).
