Responsibilities

• Receive and QC the incoming pipeline of samples.
• Trimming, process and embed all blocks that come into the lab.
• Section and H&E stain samples for lab initiatives.
• Perform routine IHC of established panels of markers.
• Section blocks and coverslip slides for program scientists.
• Order and organize lab supplies.
• Maintain lab equipment by coordinating service.
• Act as a liaison for the In Vivo Pharmacology group.
• Enter experimental data into lab databases.
• Work with student workers to organize and inventory blocks.
