Qualifications

• Must have a Ph.D. degree.
• Minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to elucidate mechanisms of thyroid hormone receptors in cells and in vivo; develop novel methods of gene transcription and analysis in liver and other tissues.
• Work with animal models of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism; utilize molecular biology techniques including ChIP-seq, single cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq; generate mutant mouse models.
• Collaborate with lab members and contribute to research objectives; pursue an academic career in a supportive environment.
