Qualifications

• Ph.D. required for the role.
• Minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience.
• Experience with animal models of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
• Proficiency with molecular biology techniques including ChIP-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and generation of mutant mice models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to elucidate mechanisms of thyroid hormone receptor function in liver and other tissues.
• Develop novel methods for gene transcription analysis.
• Collaborate with lab members and contribute to project goals.
• Be involved in the longer-term goals related to diabetes and metabolic liver disease.
