The ideal candidate will have a science degree with related experience, proficiency in data systems like REDCap, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a scientific discipline with 2–5 years related experience, or M.S. in a scientific discipline with 1–2 years related experience.
• Competent computer literacy; proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel; REDCap experience is helpful.
• Must maintain participant confidentiality, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing project demands.
• Professional, proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented with good judgment and humor.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition of experimental data including dietary assessments and questionnaires.
• Recruit, schedule, and retain study participants; screen by phone and in person and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain familiarity with scientific literature to support the study.
• Exercise discretion on significant research matters and provide recommendations.
• Serve as liaison with project investigators to ensure clear communication about study research.
• Assist in collection, processing, and transportation of biospecimens (blood, stool).
• Complete special projects as assigned.
