The Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute in collaboration with the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania seeks a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. The successful applicant will work on mouse models of disease focusing on metabolism, cancer biology, biochemistry, and computation.

Ph.D. required with 3–5 years postdoctoral experience.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. degree required.
• Minimum 3–5 years postdoctoral experience.
• Experience with mouse models of disease, metabolism, cancer biology, biochemistry, and computational approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate Urea Cycle Disorders, obesity, and liver cancer.
• Contribute to development of potential new treatments for obesity and dietary interventions for Urea Cycle Disorders.
• Prepare manuscripts and extramural funding proposals.
• Present research at international meetings, mentoring junior scientists, and participating in career development workshops.
