What is the Opportunity?

Responsible for fundamental analysis of companies in the Asset Management, BDC, and Mortgage REIT sector.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Assist in the development and detailed modeling of company-specific financial models
  • Coordinate, generate, and maintain research reports, presentations, and databases
  • Provide research support to analysts as required
  • Develop core Research Associate skills
  • Develop expertise in the Asset Management, BDC, and Mortgage REIT sector
  • Support and respond to client queries related to the sector
  • Identify operational risks and control deficiencies proactively
  • Review and comply with firm policies applicable to your activities
  • Escalate operational risk events, control deficiencies, and risks promptly
  • Maintain key relationships with internal clients (sales and trading) and external clients as needed

What do you need to succeed?

  • Undergraduate degree or similar qualification in Business, Mathematics, or quantitative fields
  • Licensing: Series 7, 63, 86 & 87, SIE
  • Experience in capital markets or 1-2 years in the Asset Management, BDC, and Mortgage REIT sector is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Office and data sourcing
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and task commitment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Self-motivated, organized, and independent

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000, depending on experience, skills, registration, market conditions, and business needs. This does not include additional compensation such as bonuses, benefits, and insurance.
