Responsibilities:
Independently plan, execute, and analyze research experiments related to endocrine disruption and cancer biology.
Conduct molecular and cellular biology procedures, rodent experiments, and next-generation sequencing.
Modify or develop experimental protocols to meet project-specific needs.
Serve as lab manager, overseeing day-to-day lab activities and ensuring compliance with UAMS policies and safety regulations.
Provide training and mentorship to students and junior staff.
Maintain accurate records, manage laboratory equipment and supplies, and assist in manuscript and protocol editing.
Supervise assigned personnel and manage their research-related activities and schedules.
Conduct statistical analysis, evaluate experimental data, and recommend improvements to protocols based on findings.
