Job summary

Texas A&M AgriLife invites applications for a field-based research associate position working outdoors across Texas. You will conduct field data collection, participate in weekly travel between sites, and assist with loading, transporting, and unloading equipment and samples to support agricultural research.

• Familiarity with laboratory and/or technical equipment.
• Ability to use computers to create databases, perform statistical analyses, and present data.

Responsibilities

• Perform work outdoors in variable weather conditions and uneven terrain.
• Travel weekly to research sites across Texas (60–550 miles) and assist with loading, transporting, and unloading equipment and samples.
• Carry out other related duties to support agricultural research and field operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
