The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Italo Tempera. The Tempera lab focuses on the epigenetic mechanisms underlying Epstein Barr virus (EBV) infection to identify new viral functions that can be targeted as novel therapeutic approaches for treating EBV-Associated cancers. Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include preparing and conducting experiments, analyzing samples, data recording, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
A Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
