Job summary

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA Health is hiring a full-time Research Assistant to join the Integrated Substance Use and Addiction Programs (ISAP). The role advances behavioral health research through participant recruitment, surveys, data management, and collaboration with partners.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, strong organization and communication skills, and experience with research platforms such as REDCap or Qualtrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social science, public health, psychology or related field (Preferred).
• Experience conducting research interviews or collecting research data (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Experience using REDCap, Qualtrics, or similar research platforms (preferred).
• Experience conducting literature review and summarizing research findings (preferred).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and schedule research participants
• Conduct interviews and administer research surveys
