Interius BioTherapeutics is seeking a Research Assistant/Associate, Analytical Development, to join us on our exciting journey.

As an early career Scientist, you will contribute your scientific skills to our team that develops methods supporting our internal lentiviral vector programs. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement routine testing for lentivirus programs to support analytical needs of the Process Development and Discovery teams, using cell-based assays to detect vector-driven protein expression and integration.
• Communicate scientific data effectively through presentations, protocols, test methods, and reports. Contribute to writing and reviewing regulatory submissions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum associate’s degree in a science-related field with 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, characterization of viral vectors using cell-based, molecular (qPCR/ddPCR), and biochemical methods.
• Preferred: experience with flow cytometry and cell culture.
• Experience developing procedures for use in cGMP facilities is a plus.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and demonstrated leadership skills for integrating activities across multifunctional groups are required.
• Strong commitment to bench work and experimental rigor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to independently design, troubleshoot experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings clearly.
• Highly organized with attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness.
