Job summary

The James/Guthridge Lab at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation invites applications for a Research Assistant Professor (transitional faculty) to analyze large, multi-modal datasets from clinical trials and related studies.

Ideal candidates hold a Ph.D. in a biological field with training in computational biology, systems immunology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, or machine learning, and have experience contributing to grant development and collaborative, multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a biological science, chemistry, physics or other relevant area such as statistics, biostatistics, applied mathematics, epidemiology, and/or M.D., or equivalent and typically two or more years of exemplary postdoctoral experience.
• Must be a team-player with good organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as highly attentive to detail, and dependable.
• Must be interested in contributing to the preparation and development of federal and foundation grant applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, multi-modal datasets from clinical trials and protocols.
• Collaborate with physician-scientists, immunologists, computational biologists, and data scientists.
• Contribute to integrative analyses, biomarker discovery, and disease prediction.
