Job summary

The James Guthridge Lab at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation invites applications for a Research Assistant Professor focused on analysis of large, complex multi-modal datasets from clinical trials and research protocols.

Ideal candidates have training in computational biology, systems immunology, biostatistics, machine learning, or related quantitative disciplines and will join a multidisciplinary team to advance biomarker discovery and precision medicine in autoimmune diseases.

Qualifications

• PhD in biological science or MD or equivalent; typically 2+ years of exemplary postdoctoral experience.
• Must be a team player with organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and be highly attentive to detail and dependable.
• Interest in contributing to federal and foundation grant applications.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization using R, Python, or similar tools.
• Experience with grant writing is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 publications, including high-impact journals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis of large, complex multi-modal datasets from clinical trials and protocols.
• Contribute to integrative analyses, biomarker discovery, and disease mechanism studies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of physicians, immunologists, and data scientists.
