The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania are seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Assistant Professor position. Expertise in clinical laboratory multi-omics assay R&D under CLIA environment is required, with experience in cancer research and clinical translational research preferred. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
Responsibilities include designing and validating cancer drug screen assays, including cell/tissue culture, drug sensitivity profiling, and multi-omics assays for genomic profiling in a CLIA environment. The role also involves overseeing laboratory QI/QC programs, ensuring compliance with CLIA regulations, developing collaborative research programs, co-supervising postdoctoral fellows, students, and staff, coordinating NIH-funded grants, and contributing to grant writing, reports, and manuscripts.
Minimum of five years' experience in clinical laboratory multi-omics assay R&D under CLIA is required. Experience in cancer and translational research is preferred.
