The UMKC School of Nursing and Health Studies is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to provide research support for the CDC-REACH grant, specifically working under the nutrition pillar of the grant. This temporary, part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public health nutrition research while contributing to meaningful community health initiatives.
This position will support research design, analysis, and scholarly communications for research emerging from three nutrition strategy areas:

This temporary, part-time, non-benefit eligible academic position will average 10 hours per week.

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as a rate of $15.00 per hour.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.

This position is 100% externally grant funded through August 15, 2025.
