The University of Iowa is seeking a full-time Research Assistant for the laboratory of Dr. Li Wu. The successful candidate will conduct experimental procedures related to HIV replication and contribute to the overall efficiency of the lab while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
The laboratory of Dr. Li Wu in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a Research Assistant to join a team focused on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of HIV replication and latency, virus interaction with host factors, and anti-viral innate immunity. The position will conduct experimental procedures under the supervision of the PI and a research scientist or a postdoctoral researcher. This position will also be responsible for general laboratory maintenance to facilitate overall laboratory efficiency and productivity.

Type of Position: Specified Term. Initial appointment is for one year. Appointment may be extended based on performance and availability of funding.
