Position Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Research Assistant in Augmented Reality position for the School of Marketing/Design/Analytics at Oregon State University ( OSU ).
The Research Assistant in Augmented Reality (AR) will hold a significant role in shaping how AR technologies are designed, developed and implemented in co-design activities for civic engagement across local communities. The role is ideal for individuals interested in shaping interactive technologies, prototyping (e.g., in Unity) and developing software itself.
Pay rate for this position is $17.05 per hour
Position Duties
1. Be responsible for designing and developing immersive experiences, primarily in AR.
2. Animating 3D assets in software such as Maya
Additional Required Qualifications
Working knowledge in the following software: Unity, Unreal Engine and Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred (Special) Qualifications
Currently junior or senior standing.
